I don’t always plan out our market visits. Sometimes they are very last minute. The Cumberland farmers market was one of these impromptu Saturday morning drives. Located in the east end of Ottawa, ON in a residential area with lots of trees. Very pretty and very close to the street in front of a community centre. We arrived during the last half hour and noticed that mentor vendors were gone or packing up. People were still coming to market though. There were vegetable vendors still selling plenty of great vegetables and we left with a full bag of fruits and vegetables. The highlight of the market was the dogs and one dog in particular, a fellow Corgi. It was great to see so many dogs and dog lovers at such a small market. Norm and Cumberland Market Corgi got along great. Very proud of Norm!
Based on the little we experienced, this farmers market deserves a second and planned visit to get the most out of it.
